Autonomy and Flexibility – Video Training and Online Manual
Using a new software, adapting to it and making sure your team is comfortable with it can be daunting and time consuming, right? Well, it doesn’t necessarily have to be this way.
In this article, we will talk about why you should use these tutorial resources to make the most of the Skylegs platform. We will also tell you how, so don’t worry! This way, you will see how you can make the most of our platform and in a seamless manner.
Computer based training (CBT) and Knowledge Base: what are they?
Computer Based Trainings (CBT): they are video tutorials with information and practical steps on every module. We use the Scandlearn platform for this. Here, once you finish a course, you can download a certificate stating that you successfully completed a course, when you finished and some other useful information.
Please contact our Support team and send us the email addresses of users to be added to the Scandlearn platform.
Knowledge Base: think of it as a comprehensive online manual. Here, you will find information on every module, button, field, etc, present in the Skylegs platform. What is more, you will also find step-by-step instructions on special/specific procedures, such as setting up an integration with one of our partner companies.
As you can see, both resources contain valuable and practical knowledge about the Skylegs platform. Choose whichever format fits your personal learning style best.
To access either of them, go to the top bar of your Skylegs environment, as shown on the image below:
When should you use these resources?
- New staff members have joined your company
Got new team members joining, but you just got an AOG and won’t be able to train them yourself? Fret not! Refer them to the CBTs and/or to the Knowledge base.
They will be able to catch up with your team in no time.
- You came across something new while using the platform
Don’t know what a button, item or field is for? Go to the knowledge base and type the name of the item and/or a keyword related to what you need and there you go! You’ll be presented with the options which will answer your question.
If you prefer a video instead of reading, go to Scandlearn, choose the module for which you have a question and choose the sub-section accordingly.
- A refresher’s course
You just got back from those well-deserved holidays, but forgot how the ins-and-outs of creating flights or how to make a sales quote in Skylegs? No shame in that! As with any tool, sometimes we just need to brush up on our knowledge.
These are just some examples and suggestions. We are sure you will find different uses for these resources as you explore and use our platform!
